![]() ![]() Christopher Crupi, CA - Director/PresidentMr. Crupi is a Chartered Accountant who specializes in a host of financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and business valuations. His transaction experience spans several industries, including mining, software, sports and entertainment and manufacturing. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Crupi has participated in deals totaling more than $1 billion, including the sale of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and the sale of a division of the Canadian Red Cross to establish Canadian Blood Services. Lawrence Segerstrom, M.Sc. (Geology), MBA - Chief Operating OfficerMr. Segerstrom has more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry, including 19 years in exploration and 10 years in management. Born and raised in Latin America, Mr. Segerstrom is bilingual and has spent 10 years in the region, mainly in Mexico and Chile. From 1999 to 2003, he was Manager of the Geologic Services Group for Freeport-McMoRan. In this role, he managed all onsite geologic activities in the world-class Grasberg Mining District in Indonesia, including open pit and underground mine geology and district exploration. From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Segerstrom was General Manager of Layne Christensen drilling company's highly successful Mexican subsidiary. As a geologist for Newmont, Noranda and Phelps Dodge from 1976-1993, Mr. Segerstrom conducted greenfield and brownfield exploration, evaluation and development in diverse geologic settings in western U.S., Mexico and Chile, including epithermal precious metal (low and high sulfidation), mesothermal shear-hosted gold, iron oxide copper-gold, polymetallic replacement, copper porphyry/skarn and porphyry molybdenum. Mr. Segerstrom has a B.S. (Geology) degree from Colorado State University, an M.S. (Geology) degree from University of Arizona, and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management (2005). He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and is certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute. Charles W. Reed - Manager of Exploration, MexicoMr. Reed has significant mining experience in Mexico. From 1998 to 2004, he was Chief Geologist - Mexico for Minera Hecla S. A. de C. V., a subsidiary of Hecla Mining (NYSE:HL). From 1993 to 1998, he was Regional Geologist, Mexico and Central America for Echo Bay Exploration. While at Hecla, Mr. Reed supervised detailed exploration at the Noche Buena project, Sonora, and the San Sebastian silver and gold mine, Durango. He also discovered and drilled the Don Sergio vein that was later put into production. While at Echo Bay, Mr. Reed identified the potential of the Dolores mining district, Chihuahua, Mexico and recommended acquisitions that resulted in the discovery of more than 44 million ounces of silver and 2.5 million ounces of gold. Mr. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mineralogy from the University of Utah and is a Registered Professional Geologist in the state of Utah.
